This first image is a sign as well a banner for The Food Project website. The Food Project includes an urban garden--known as the Buddha Garden for the adjacent Buddha statue, a free worm exchange (see Buddha Worms) --for indoor composting, farm stands, free food give-a-ways, and community dinners made with fresh, local food.
The letters seen here are composed entirely of compost from my own personal worm bin. (And the hill in the poster uses dill from the local farmer's market in Waverly, Baltimore.)
In addition to currently managing the space, I'm one of this group's co-founders as well an active member. You can check out the project's other events and occurrences (community garden, seasonal dinners, etc.) at the Sustainable Food Project Website. For information on the worm exchange and vermicomposting, click here.
